Joyas Etnicas
¿Qué se necesitará?
• Barro marrón
• Palito de madera
• Cordel
• Pinturas azul y blanca
• Pincel
• Botones rojos, verdes, marrón claro y marrón oscuro
• Hilo de nailon
¿Cómo se hará?
Esta actividad se puede realizar en tres sesiones de media hora cada una, aproximadamente, trabajando con todo el grupo.
Consejos
• Modelar barro. Siempre que se modela barro, conviene cubrir la mesa de trabajo con un plástico o una tela para no mancharla. Asimismo, es bueno que los niños tengan a mano un trozo de tela para limpiarse las manos.
• Recipiente con agua. También es importante colocar un recipiente con agua en cada mesa para poder humedecer el barro si se empieza a secar.
• Agujerear bolas de barro. Con un palito de madera, resulta muy sencillo atravesar las bolas de barro antes de que se sequen. Si los niños son muy pequeños, se puede cortar la punta afilada del palito para evitar que se hagan daño.
• Hilo de nailon. No es necesario utilizar ninguna aguja para pasar el hilo de nailon por los agujeros de los botones, porque éstos son suficientemente grandes y el hilo de nailon no se dobla fácilmente.

Sesion 1
Preparar para cada niño:
• Barro marrón
• Un palito de madera
Modelar siete bolitas de barro marrón, agujerearlas con un palito de madera y dejarlas secar.
Sesion 2
Preparar para cada niño:
• Bolas de barro modeladas en la sesión anterior
• Cordel
Preparar para cada mesa:
• Recipientes con pinturas blanca y azul
• Pinceles
Pintar cuatro bolas de color azul y tres, blancas.
Pasar una bola por el cordel y hacer un nudo a cada lado. Repetir la misma operación con las otras bolas, dejando un espacio entre cada una.
Sesion 3:
Preparar para cada niño:
• Botones rojos, verdes, marrones claro y marrones oscuro
• Hilo de nailon
Pasar el hilo de nailon por dos agujeros de un botón y enhebrar del mismo modo los otros botones, alternando los colores.
