Square Circles
Definition: a competition tata knots.
OBJECTIVES: Mastering the art of cabuyería.
PARTICIPANTS: Group, class, .... from 11 to 12 years.
MATERIALS: A string for each player.
Divide participants into small groups, they in turn are also divided to form two lines, so that each remaining player from the same rigged by one on his side of the same group.
Each player will hold your rope so it will pass s neck and they fall on either end in front, below the chest, at a given signal, each boy try to take over the end of the rope on the right tying it using a knot "Plain or terry" the end of the rope in front of his partner. Meanwhile, the partner will try to make a similar move with the left end of your rope. When each boy is finished you have made a ring with ropes, which includes both boys. They will try to lean back in order to test the resistance of the knot has been made and this will put the string taut and raise their hands and arms in the air. When all the pairs in each group some have made this
action, the entire group yell a signal. The first team that ends with this activity and found that all knots are properly done, is the winner.
NOTES: Right this competition once or twice, then do it again, first using the knot "sheet bend". If you happen to have an odd number of boys in a group, it must pair with the game director.
